NOV 11, 2022 - Jaime Morales
Who is Jaime Morales?
I was born in Los Angeles, lived a few years in Guatemala. Came back to Los Angeles in 1986.
My childhood was good but I wouldn't say it was great. I faced a ton of challenges in my youth. Coming to the US without knowing the language or the culture took some time to adjust.
I came back as a 9 year old. My single mom USED to make good money in Guatemala but had to come back to the USA to clean someone else's house. We slept on a sofa in my aunt's house with everything in the refrigerator labeled so that I wouldn't touch it.
I became rebellious in my teens. I was sick of church and all of the rules that didn't make sense to me. Some of those rules I still find pretty stupid at the age of 45.
My first and only job was in the construction industry. I did well, but man... THE POLITICS!!
I had to wait until someone died to move up. The click was complete and I wasn't part of it.
I did learn valuable lessons in construction, like showing up early and staying busy all day long. I still get up at 5am on average. I still stay busy all day long but now I do it because I want to, not because I have to.
In 2001 I was introduced to Marketing and school has been in since that day. I love it, I hate it but it's
been an amazing business that I have been able to build from anywhere in the world.
This was me at 8 years old holding down the fort for Guatemala. Little did I know how much my life was going to change in the next 12 months.
In 2001, my life changed. 911 changed my life even though I didn't live in NYC. The construction industry slowed down and I was laid off for the first time in my life. Scared with 2 kids at the time, today I have 5, I found myself open to ideas that otherwise I would have made fun of. To me, if you weren't sweating while you worked, you didn't work.
On December 30th of that same year, my friend Jeff came over and indirectly changed my life. Although he never did anything in the industry, I will forever be grateful because he was open to being used to change my life.
It's impossible to stop a man or woman who refuses to quit- Mike Humes.
It took me 20 years to become an overnight success.
I have had my struggles with this thing called life. I am ever changing and reaching to become a better man. I wasn't to be the man God designed me to be.
At the age of 36, I found myself in a bad place in my life. My immaturity caused me tremendously, but I am also living proof that God can make all things NEW if we allow Him to.
My relationship with my kids was not where I wanted it to be then and it's still in God's hands now, but I am grateful for how far we all have grown together.
I met my wife...
Almost ruined it more than once....
By God's grace, we are more excited and more together than ever.
Figured out that Affiliate Marketing is exactly where I need to be. This is where I need to serve and serve we have. Currently, we are building an active organization in more than 15 countries and expanding quickly.
Top distributor in my company and the top 1% in the industry. Systems driven to the core, we seek to be more and more organized in our efforts. We love the challenge of getting people to work together and we see people as an asset not a burden.
Thank you for getting to know me a little better by reading this short entry. Feel free to ask me any question through the comments.
I look forward to serving you further with every post.
